Robert Baldassari

Robert Baldassari is one of two In-Field Trainers at Aspiro. It is his job to support Field Guides by providing on-the-job evaluations and coaching. Robert works with our Field Guides to grow their toolbox of guiding techniques. In this role, Robert has the pleasure of visiting several student groups each week and is able to get to know most of the students at Aspiro. Robert grew up in California and moved to Utah in 2006 to live near the mountains. His background is in ski instructing, where he has over 10 years of experience and holds several certifications, including his PSIA level 2, AASI Level 1, and Children Specialist 1. During his free time, Robert enjoys skiing, hiking, and backpacking. He has also been known to rock climb and ice climb. Some of his more memorable expeditions include climbing Mt Gannett, Mt. Shasta, Mt. Rainier, and Mt. Hood.
