Luke Eckert

Luke has been working as an instructor and guide in the outdoors since his was 14. Since receiving his undergraduate degree, he has utilized his experience to create safe and therapeutic experiences at Aspiro Adventure. During this time, he pursued opportunities to learn more about medical safety in the wilderness context, resulting in a number of certifications including Wilderness First Responder, Emergency Medical Technician, Advanced Wilderness Life Support, and a BS in Disaster Management and Response. Luke also spent more than 10 years working as an EMT in a rural community in Northern New York State managing complex medical situations with limited resources. His passion for both the physical and mental health of Aspiro students makes him an ideal Medical Manager. In his spare time, Luke enjoys spending time in the mountains with his wife and four legged best friend Colden.
