Katie has been with Aspiro since 2013 and has worn many hats within the organization including Chief Financial Officer, and Controller. Katie came to Aspiro with over twenty years of experience managing businesses with an emphasis on accounting and financial planning. Throughout her tenure, Katie has helped carry out the vision of Aspiro with a dedication to innovation, client care, and excellent customer service. She has developed a deep understanding of Aspiro which contributes to her insightful and practical perspectives on the planning and oversight of the company. Katie believes that building a strong team is the best way to ensure success for Aspiro students and a positive work environment for employees. Kaite’s vision for Aspiro is to continue to bring meaningful experiences to students and provide a supportive and positive environment for employees.

Katie graduated from the University of Northern Iowa, where earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and worked primarily with Middle School and High School age students. After graduating, she found her love for business, especially startups, where she developed a knack for problem-solving in a business setting which has translated to her several roles at Aspiro.

In Katie’s free time you can find her woodworking and running back and forth from Home Depot for home improvement supplies. Katie is also an avid runner and cyclist.
